How to start a youtube channel. Cameras, Software and more.

Hello everyone!
I have a different kind of blog post for you today.

I am going to be talking about Youtube. I get a lot of questions from people that want to start a youtube channel. What camera do I use? What software do I use?
I first want to say that I do not have a million subscribers or even 20K subscribers so I was hesitant to even make these videos. But I decided I would share my experience and what I do and use and I hope someone finds it helpful

You can watch my first video here
I talk about the best advice I can give someone that wants to start making videos,

My second video talks about what I use to create my videos.
You can watch the video here

Really you dont need much. Just something to record your videos and some sort of editing software.
I use Windows movie maker which is free.

Here is a list of equipment I use and other equipment that might be helpful
( I am NOT an affiliate for these companies)

Tripod  - Manfrotto Tripod
The tripod "arm" that I showed in my video came from this.

Suggested equipment.
Please know that I have not tried these products out and try to go with something that will work for you.

In my next video for "how to start a youtube channel" I will be sharing tips on what to do once your first video is uploaded.
I hope you enjoy these videos.
If you find them helpful please share.

Together Layout. Live with Prima

Hello everyone.
I have a layout to share with you!

I created this layout for Live with Prima.

You can see how I created this layout in the video below.

In the video I didn't show me using the Color Philosophy inks. I used the inks to create a subtle background color and it is easy to achieve this.. You need a watercolor brush and get the ink from the lid. Spread the color around just like you would watercolors.

Here is a few detailed pictures.

Hello everyone.
I have a project to share with you.
I created this canvas using the new Prima Patina paste from Finnabair.

The paste is designed to create a patina effect on projects. But I wanted to show how you can use them more as paint and not just for a full patina look.
Be sure to check out the Prima blog for more inspiration
Here is a few detailed photos of my project.

Here is a few detail photos.

I love this Merry Christmas sentiment. I also tucked a doily border behind
some of the paper and I love the snowflake chipboard pieces.

Mixed media canvas

Hello everyone!
I have created a mixed media canvas! It is a little out of my comfort zone with the colors but I had a lot of fun with it and I love the result.

I used some Tim holtz tissue paper so the background had some interest and texture. I then used some fabric, Art stones, and metals to create more texture. I used Frank Garcia's Artisan powder and some of Finnabair's rust paste along with some Prima color bloom spray to create the color.

You can see how I created it in this video

Be sure to like my video, Share it and leave a comment.
